Product Information

Where are the products made?

All pieces are handcrafted and produced in small batches in our studio in Los Angeles.

How are your ceramic items made?

A variety of methods are used to create each piece. They are made thrown on the pottery wheel, hand-built or slip casted. Each piece is trimmed and dried before they are either painted and/or bisque fired. The vessels are fired to a Cone 5 allowing each piece to reach its full potential of strength, color and finish.

Due to the multi-stage and the handmade nature of each ceramics, each piece will vary slightly in design, texture, color, and size adding to the organic beauty of the craftmenship.

Are the ceramic wares food safe?

All functional tableware items, such as bowls, cups and plates, are food-safe. 

Product Care

Dishwaser or microwave safe?

Our ceramics are made of a durable stoneware, but each piece is still susceptible to damage if mishandled. Though the ceramic ware are microwave and dishwasher safe, to ensure the longevity of your pieces, we recommend hand-washing when possible. Avoid rapid temperature changes. Do not apply to direct heat.

How do I clean stains?

If any stains occur from normal use, dilute a small amount of baking soda with water to create a paste. Gently scrub/wipe the area clean. “Mr. Clean Magic Eraser” can be used as well.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy

All orders placed with JUMIE CERAMICS are processed and shipped from our studio in Los Angeles, California.

We offer shipping within the United States and Canada via USPS at this time. Order processing takes 1-3 business days for all in stock items. Once your package ships, you’ll receive a notification via email with tracking number. Please allow more time for processing during holidays and special sale days. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they are in the hands of the shipping carrier.

Return Policy

All sales are final, including but not limited to custom and sample pieces. Once your order is in production, it cannot be changed or canceled. For items damaged in transit or defective parts, please keep all original packaging and document the damage as soon as the piece is delivered. Damage must be reported with photos within 5 days of delivery, and we will work with you to refund or replace the item. We are unable to offer refunds or replacements on orders that were received beyond that window.
